Feature Article Lesson Plans

feature article lesson plans
What type of website should I make for a client that wants to be able to edit their own pages easily?

My client is a teacher who wants to make a website featuring her AP Chemistry Class and her Forensic Science Class. She wants to include: syllabus, lesson plans, labs, homework assignments, examples of student work, etc as well movie content and contact form. I’m pretty sure the best way to go is a CMS, but I’m not sure which CMS will be the easiest for her to use and understand once I have it up and operational. For example, I know it is difficult to learn and use Joomla! especially when it comes to making new pages because pages are referred to as “Articles” and everything has to be linked just right to an article etc.

What do you think? (Also, I’d like to be able to continue contact with whoever answers my question just in case I have further questions.)

P.S. I have experience with CMS. I have worked with Joomla!, DotNetNuke, and Drupal.
Never been a huge fan of wordpress, but I know there are a large number of CMS out there.

hi, i’m a web designer. i’d be glad to make a site, email me rasmeetsinghdesign@gmail.com
soo, if she wants to edit it herself, thats hard..i make sites in dreamweaver, easy for me, harder for ppl to learn from scratch…so something she wants to edit herself, i’d check out new.schoolnotes.com or something like blackboard (bb.misd.net)
