Does anyone know how to find news articles from 1979?? I live in NY and my brother was killed in a hit and run car accident on Oct 11th 1979 in Dallas Texas. I was only 10 at the time and my mother could not afford to have his body sendt back to NY, so he was burried there………I’ve been trying to search the net for old Obits and news articles, I’ve even tried to search for where he is burried, but the only exact thing I have come up with is the date he died. If anyone has anything that might help me, please let me know, or if you have your option of searching his name is James Roderick St Louis….Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!!!!
You may want to contact the coroner’s office in Dallas. They may be able to assist you in finding out where he’s buried.
Also, public libraries are a wealth of information and most will have old papers on microfilm. You might want to contact one of the larger libraries in Dallas and see what research information they may be able to provide you with.
