Are you going to write LOVE on your arms tomorrow?

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2383292/help_fight_depression_and_suicide_write.html

Well apparently tomorrow (Friday November 13th) is Write Love On Her Arms Day, and it’s supposed to raise awareness about teenage depression. We are all meant to write the word “love” on our arms to show that every person is worthy of being “loved”, and this is apparently supposed to stop people from offing themselves. Are you going to write “love” on your arms?
it doesn’t prevent it, you moron, it raises awareness. maybe next time you could try reading a question before you answer it.
as for me, I’m going to take a 3-4 hour walk tomorrow afternoon. I’ll probably go around and buy the knife I have wanted for a long time. then I’ll write love on my arm with the new knife.

I am. I’m doing it to show support, and in memory my two friends who killed themselves – and also to be able to open the window of communication with people about the topic of self-injury, when they ask why the hell I have things written on my arms.

I myself am recovering from self-injury, so this cause hits close to home for me. I self-harmed for five years, and have been recovering for 1.5 years and counting. (:
