Can going green help prevent the spread of diseases?

Over the next few days, I’m going to be giving a presentation (as part of a competition) on how a business can become more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly by going green. However, with the current publicity surrounding the H1N1/Swine Flu virus, I think that capitalizing on this benefit would help my presentation greatly. Do you know of any articles that link going green with improved health and fewer disease transmissions? If so, please let me know. Of course, if you have any other possible benefits, those would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don’t know about preventing the spread of disease, but I do know that there are places you can go and live (its like a rehab) and they give you nothing but organic vegetarian food.

Eating organically has been proved by the medical community to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

The name of that rehab like place is call the Tree of Life or something like that.

Hope that helps!
