A question about the U.S. Constitution? 10 points and 5 stars?

okay so i have to find three weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation that were addressed and fixed by the Constitution. I need help with the U.S Constitution Strengths. Can someone help me. Can you tell me if these weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation are okay to put down:
* No power to tax
* No power to compel military service
* No common currency

The Articles of Confederation was really a draft of what would latr become the constitution.

Some of the weaknesses is that the Congress had the power to borrow money, but it had no power to collect taxes from the states. The Articles of Confederation had not organised for the Chief Executive or President, no court system, no power to regulate trade, no national currency – as you have picked up, and had no real power to pass laws.

Then there was the question of changing the very articles of confederation. What happened when there were disagreements or something wasnt working – how could they change an article without any legal foundation for changing it.

At the end of the day, the founding fathers recognsed that in order for the 13 colonies to operate as one nation, then they needed a set of rules to govern the nation which could be amended and give power to the government to deal with situations such as Shays rebellion – mostly poor farmers angered by what they felt to be crushing debt and taxes who took matters into their own hands by seizing the courts.
