Should Soda be illegal?

I really think they should. There is nothing positive about drinking sodas, diet or regular. But they probably never will make them illegal because all the soda companies would go out of business. Just like tobacco and alcohol. How many lives have been lost or ruined due to smoking and drinking, yet they are legal. Then they ban things that are way less harmful.

It seems a lot of people think we should have the right to drink sodas if we choose. Fair enough, but what about laws requiring us to wear seat belts? What about helmet laws for motorcycle riders? Don’t they have the right to die if they want to take the risk? Just like smokers and drinkers. Granted, drinking sodas is not as bad as that, but it certainly is no good for anyone, it rots teeth, causes you to gain weight, and kills, etc.

What are your feelings on this? Dont you care about other peoples health and safety? and why?

I’m honestly surprised you didn’t add a blurb about all the carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Come to think of it, I’m surprised all the “Green” people haven’t been whining about it.
