I agree with you, it’s totally ridiculous. The police in this country are so stupid that you just know sooner or later an innocent person will get shot (remember that Brazilian guy who got shot after the police mistook him for a terrorist?!?!?) People who get caught with guns only get a few years in prison anyway so there really isn’t any deterrent for the youth.
