Articles Over Texting While Driving

Logistics behind Colorado’s “Texting While Driving” Ban – What can be manipulated?
Colorado recently passed a new law that prohibits two things: “Texting While Driving” and “Under 18 Calling While Driving.” At what point does an official actually have enough cause to write a ticket? What’s to say I wasn’t searching through my iPhone to look for a contact to make a phone call – if the law simply states they can pull anyone over for any manipulation on their phone… yet police don’t have the right to ask for the phone to see what you were doing… How can this law be upheld or proved in court? Does this also stop the use of iPod’s, GPS Devices or Laptops or is it just cell phones? I can’t seem to find any articles providing more data on the matter than just “Dont Tweet, Email or Text”
If you start to punch things into your GPS while driving, you will probably get a Careless Driving ticket, even if it is no specificaly part of the texting ban
