Ucmj Article 15 Extra Duty
Comments (0) Would it be worth appealing an article 15 (UCMJ) US Army?
i am getting a company grade article 15 and i was in a UE waiting and this nco said anyone found sleeping with be smoked and bored as hell i but my hand on my head. the nco thought i was sleeping.He called me out and do some push ups. I said ” no i was not sleeping i would rather take a article. After that he got my superviser told me ” that it was better for me to do knock out the push ups than to get an article 15. so i did push ups and got cussed out by another nco and was spit on :/ as he was yelling and cussing at me. then the nco that made me do pushs up told me to get up and told me “i am going to give you what you want” go back to your set and i said it should not even make it past the CSM.
so should i appeal it…. it is a company max 14 extra duty 14 days on post 1 week no pay and loss of one rank… so what to do?

You would rather take an Art. 15 instead of doing some push-ups? You seem to like to argue with your upper chain of command also.
Doesn’t even sound like you have been awarded the Art 15 yet. When you get it…ask the question again, and take the time to write in complete sentences.
